Twelve years in, and I still walk every property before I list it

That's not a slogan it's how I've done business since day one, and it's the reason most of my clients come from a referral rather than a search.

How I got here

I started in real estate the way a lot of people in Athens do by helping a friend sell their house and realizing I was better at this than my actual job at the time. Twelve years later, it's still the part of the work I care about most: sitting at someone's kitchen table and helping them think clearly about one of the biggest decisions of their life.

I've never wanted to be the agent with the most listings in town. I'd rather be the one a handful of families call every time they move, and the one their kids call when it's their turn.

How I work

A few things that stay the same no matter who I'm working with or what the market's doing.

Straight numbers

You'll get my honest read on a price, even when it's not what you were hoping to hear. Guesswork gets expensive in this market.

Local, not general

I can tell you which street floods, which school zone is changing. That comes from living here.

No pressure, ever

I'll tell you to wait, walk away, or sleep on it if that's the right call even if it means the deal doesn't happen.

About Sonke Realty

Sonke Realty is the practice built around that way of working small enough that every client deals with me directly, not a rotating team of assistants.

The name carries the same idea as the work itself: people first, properties second, and the possibilities that open up once the right match is made.
